- COSORI Dual Blaze
- Yield
- 4 skewers, serving 2–3
Ingredients
- 500 g minced beef
- 6 plain flour tortillas, cut into squares
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- Olive oil, for brushing
- ½ white onion, finely chopped
- Fresh coriander, chopped
- 1 tsp taco seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt, to taste
- Homemade guacamole, for serving
- Sour cream, for serving
Method
- 01
Place the minced beef in a mixing bowl.
- 02
Add the finely chopped white onion, fresh coriander, avocado oil, taco seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and salt.
- 03
Mix everything together until the ingredients are combined.

- 04
Cut the plain flour tortillas into squares.
- 05
Layer the beef mixture between the tortilla squares and stack them together.

- 06
Cut the assembled stack diagonally, as shown in the preparation photographs.
- 07
Insert skewers through the layered beef and tortillas, then cut again to create neat portions.

- 08
Arrange the four assembled skewers in the COSORI Dual Blaze air fryer basket.
- 09
Brush with olive oil.

- 10
Air fry at 180°C for 10 minutes, without preheating or turning. This is the original recorded cooking time.
- 11
Check the thickest part of the minced beef filling with a food thermometer. It must reach at least 71°C (160°F). If it has not, continue cooking and checking until safely done. Thicker, meatier skewers may need additional time.
- 12
Serve hot with homemade guacamole and sour cream.

Lackie's Notes
I used the COSORI Dual Blaze for this recipe.
I made four skewers, serving approximately two to three people.
I used plain flour tortillas.
You can adjust how much minced beef you layer between the tortillas depending on how meaty you want the skewers.
Thicker beef layers will generally require more cooking time.
My recorded cooking time was 10 minutes at 180°C, but always check that the minced beef reaches a safe internal temperature of 71°C before serving.
I did not preheat the air fryer or turn the skewers.
If using wooden skewers, make sure they are suitable for your appliance, fit safely within the basket and cannot touch the heating element.
