Easy Air Fryer Salmon

I originally made this air fryer salmon for a salmon melt sandwich, then made it again and served it with a fresh salad. It turned out to be one of those simple recipes that works in more than one meal.

Ingredients

  • 3 salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika or regular paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce, optional
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Method

  1. 01

    Pat the salmon fillets dry and brush with the oil.

  2. 02

    Season with garlic powder, paprika, black pepper and salt. Add the soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce if using.

    Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin side down.

  4. 04

    Air fry at 200°C / 390°F for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden and slightly crisp around the edges.

    Serve with lemon wedges.

I love recipes like this because I can cook the salmon once and use it in completely different ways. I've had it with salad and used it for a salmon melt sandwich, and both worked beautifully.
